Pensar in partnership with Twin View Turf and Pinata Farms is delivering the Wamuran Irrigation Scheme (WIS). Together the partners were able to tailor a solution with the end user in mind, ensuring what was proposed, designed, and now being constructed, meets the needs of growers and the client.

In it for the long run
Pensar was established in Brisbane in 2000 by Managing Director Karl Yunker. As a company, we have the experience, extensive capabilities, and well-earned reputation for delivering quality outcomes. Our capabilities are drawn from the application of many years of experience, ensuring our clients’ peace of mind for current work, and their longevity into the future. At the end of 2022, Pensar joined RSK Australia.
The thing that sets us apart is our determined commitment and attitude of always improving. This culture encompasses our entire operation from the quality of our people and our project delivery, our approach to health, safety, and the environment, to each interaction with our clients, suppliers, and members of the community.

Pensar's Sustainability Committee
Our dedicated Sustainability Committee aims to implement and promote best practice solutions to enhance sustainability initiatives across our project sites and offices. The committee organises and drives regular activity across the company including plogging, sustainable procurement, rejuvenation projects, recycling, upcycling and supporting Ocean Crusaders.
WaterAid
In our everyday delivery we see the positive impact on communities of effective and efficient water infrastructure, particularly in regional and remote locations. As a silver member, Pensar is committed to supporting WaterAid in working towards providing water access for all. Through WaterAid, individuals and organisations help to combat the devastating impacts of water scarcity and poor sanitation, which disproportionately affect the most vulnerable populations. This support not only saves lives and prevents disease but also empowers communities, enabling children to attend school, women to pursue economic opportunities, and families to thrive.
The National Association of Women in Infrastructure (NAWIC)
At Pensar, we are passionate about the recruitment and diversity of women in construction. We are committed to mentoring the women in our organisation, as well as furthering their personal and professional networking opportunities. NAWIC has been at the forefront of empowering women in construction through education, networking, and professional development since its inception in 1953.
