RFNS Boat Ramp Upgrade
About the project
P2 Infrastructure is a partnership between Pensar and Palladium, focused on delivering critical community infrastructure throughout Asia-Pacific.
P2 Infrastructure is currently engaged in the design and construction of an extension to the existing boat ramp at Republic Fiji Naval Squadron (RFNS) in Walu Bay, Suva, Fiji. The scope of works will involve the removal of the existing ramp and construction of a new ramp. The new boat ramp will accommodate the launching and retrieving of 7m Rigid Hulled Inflatable Boats (RHIB).

Challenges
- Due to the inherent nature of working in tidal marine conditions, our team will require technically skilled personnel to carry out the construction works safely and effectively with knowledge of the local area and weather conditions.
Achievements
- Our project teams are already forming connections to procure materials and labour locally. This is achieved through working closely and collaboratively with the client and local community with opportunity to upskill.
