Project Scope
- Abrasive blasting was used to prepare the internal surface of the reservoir
- An epoxy render was applied to the walls followed by a 3mm polyruea lining on the floors and walls
- A polyurethane protective coating was applied to the external walls of the reservoir
Challenges
- The environmental conditions proved challenging due to the project being located in far North Queensland
Achievements
- Approximately 900m2 of epoxy render was applied in 3.5 days and 1700m2 of polyurea was sprayed to the walls and floors of the reservoir
- Stopaq tape and polyurea were used to terminate the lining on the stainless steel columns inside the reservoir
