Michael Bissett, Lawrence Stephenson (Twin View Turf) and Gavin Scurr (Pinata Farms) recently were guests on RSK’s Blue Thread webinar. The team spoke to the challenges of water security in the agriculture industry and the importance of working collaboratively with the local community and ultimately the end user in the delivery of innovative water infrastructure. It is a great example of a successful strategic collaboration between a contractor and key end users and the flow on effects a successful water security project has on a community.
Hosted by RSK’s Mark Smith, Strategic Business Development Director – Water, they were also joined by Sarah Wynn and Toby Townsend from ADAS Climate and Sustainability UK and tackled the vital issue of addressing water challenges in the agriculture industry. Water stewardship lies at the heart of sustainable practices within agribusiness. It fosters responsible water usage, preserves natural resources and ensures the enduring sustainability of production processes and supply chains.
