The Port of Brisbane (PNCUB) unloading platform required a new cold water and fire hydrant service to be installed to allow future use of the Platform after BP have completed decommissioning works at their refinery.

Project scope

Pensar performed the following scope of works:

  • Installation of approximately 1km of underground 180OD PE water main;
  • Live connection to existing QUU water main;
  • Installation of 100mm S/S and 150mm Galv. pipework along 180m walkway to an offshore fuel unloading platform;
  • Installation of Fire infrastructure including above and below ground hydrants, booster assembly and re-connection of existing equipment;
  • Construction of new Cold Water Fast Fill Shipping connections;
  • Testing and Commissioning of the new main to relevant QUU and BCC standards.
