Ipswich City Council LED Street Lighting Upgrade

About the project

As part of Ipswich City Council’s commitment to a more ‘Sustainable Ipswich’ Pensar was awarded the trial program to replace and upgrade 2,500 street lights from mercury vapour, fluorescent bulbs to efficient LED lighting. The project spanned 11 suburbs across Ipswich and has considerably increased the energy efficiency of this lighting network. The trial has been highly successful reducing the Council’s electrical costs and environmental impacts.
