About the project

The Growler Airborne Electronic Attack Capability Facility Project is a vital part of Australia’s heightened National Security program. The EA-18G Growler is an electronic attack aircraft. It is capable of disrupting, deceiving or denying a broad range of military electronic systems, including radars and communications.

Twelve EA-18G Growlers will be based at RAAF Base Amberley and operate in conjunction with Australia’s air, land and sea forces.
