Project Highlights

  • Successful project planning mitigated continuous rainfall delays dramatically reducing activity durations and completing the job within minimal delays
  • By managing landscaping directly, both civil and landscaping works progressed efficiently and productively throughout construction works and the mitigation of rainfall
  • Working with poor soil conditions of mostly alluvial clay beneath the road subgrade, rectification works were completed as to ensure the long-term performance of the road works completed
  • Delivery of a design and construction timber boardwalk within a drainage reserve with minimal impact to local vegetation, in conjunction with the construction of a “bush mates” eco-friendly footpath through the reserve connecting the stages together

The Ivadale Lakes Project involves three separate packages of work delivered over a 12 month period within Little Mountain near Caloundra on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

Both Pensar Civil and Pensar Utilities collaborated on this project delivering both the civil works and design & construction electrical & communications package simultaneously.

Overall the project consisted of;

  • Bulk Earthworks
  • Design and construction of concrete sleeper and sandstone boulder walls
  • Rock drilling for wall foundations
  • Stormwater, sewer and water reticulation
  • Road construction
  • Repair and restoration works to existing entry street
  • Concrete medians, driveways and footpaths
  • Landscaping
