In July 2014, Pensar was engaged by Brisbane City Council to perform upgrades to two existing sewer infrastructure sites. Scope of works included relocation to the sewer rising and gravity mains with new basins including live works connections to the new sections of main.

  • Temporary diversions of overland stormwater flow
  • Construction of 130m of 400dia PE rising main
  • 80m of 160dia PE gravity main in parallel to existing mains
  • Reinforced concrete encasement of new mains
  • Construction of new manholes over existing live main
  • Raising and breaking into new manholes
  • CCTV, Vacuum and ovality testing
  • Live connection works
  • Grout filling and capping of redundant mains in-situ
  • Reinstatement of basins for completion of landscaping
